History

TMP Technologies, Inc. has been in the business of providing pivotal answers to meet our customers' needs for the last fifty years. The Company was founded in 1954 by a small group of entrepreneurs to commercialize their patented design for a unique clothesline pulley system. Over the past half -century we have grown into a multi-plant organization providing products to a worldwide customer base.

TMP's entry into the foam fabrication business began in 1956 with the fabrication and assembly of a patented floor mop. During the 1970's we expanded our operations with the acquisition of Hallmark Plastics, which years later was sold off, and with the purchase of a small single press injection rubber molder which has grown into our Advanced Rubber Products Division. The capabilities developed in those early days, when lack of resources often dictated that we design and build our own production equipment, became a critical building block for the Company's future success. These critical competencies in engineering, design and machine building allow TMP to provide pivotal answers for our customers from the design stage all the way through final production.

Today, with headquarters in Buffalo, NY, TMP Technologies has evolved to become a specialty contract designer and manufacturer of components and assemblies, manufactured using foam, rubber, plastic, and metal.

TMP currently consists of three divisions:
