Foam Applicators
TMP Technologies has a long history of designing and manufacturing quality foam components and other dispensing products. Foam applicators spearhead our imaginative line of products. Their ability to wick, retain and evenly dispense a wide variety of fluids highlights their performance. Their ease of use commands a high degree of end-user acceptance. Shoe polish, sealants, paints, stains, dyes, and watercolors are just some of the many viscous fluids that our applicators effectively dispense.
Our staff will help co-develop your concept into reality, utilizing our expertise to laminate foam onto the base material, usually rubber or plastic.
Plastic-based Applicator
TMP's plastic based foam applicator provides a platform for a foam tip. The foam height, shape and specifications can be adjusted to influence liquid application. Liquid flow can be adjusted by changing the valve pin height. TMP's TM91 applicators have been designed to dispense a wide range of viscosities.
Rubber-based Applicator
TMP's rubber based applicator is designed with a diaphragm which is molded into the rubber. When pressure is applied, the slit opens and fluid flows into a reservoir under the foam. The reservoir allows product to flow into a foam tip applicator and evenly dispense your product.
Ampoule Style Applicator
TMP's ampoule style applicator was designed to fit an ampoule dispensing system which is used as single use disposable applicator. The plastic based applicator provides a platform to mechanically bond various materials including felted wool, polyurethane foam, and our Hydrophilic Capu-cell®.
Tube Style Applicator
TMP's tube style applicators are used with a tube package. The applicator has a foam tip attached to a plastic base and can be used to apply various products from shoe polish to nail hole spackling.
Bic® White Out Applicator
TMP assisted Bic Corporation with the design of their patented foam brush applicator which provides neater, more precise corrections without a messy brush.
Dauber Style Applicator
Our Dauber style applicator can be used to apply liquids, pastes, and gels. The material type and dimensions can be adjusted to provide the most effective application.
Modified Surface Applicator
TMP works with materials that offer a modified surface. By felting, embossing or cutting foams, different patterns and logos can be converted onto the surface of foam. The added texture allows product to hold in the groves and can be useful when applying different materials with varying viscosities.
Polyethylene Handle Applicator
TMP offers several polyethylene foam handle designs and laminates different materials to produce a useful applicator. The polyethylene handle applicator can be used to apply tire dressings, surface cleaners and surface treatments. Our engineering team will work with you to design an ergonomic handle that meets the requirements of your project
Vacuum Formed Handle
Our vacuum formed handle applicator was designed to offer a disposable pad that attaches to a reuseable handle. We use a hook and loop system that allows the user to place a foam pad on the vacuum formed handle and apply liquid, pastes or gels. After the job is complete you can discard the pad and keep the handle for the next use.
